1. Breakfast in Lycra
We’ve all done it: rolling straight out of bed and into skin-tight kit before coffee. It’s not exactly comfy for walking around—but hey, it sets the vibe for the day.
Bonus: Pockets already stuffed with gels, just in case.
2. Tan Lines = Badges of Honor
Nothing says “cyclist” like crisp tan lines. Sleeves? Check. Socks? Sharp. Shorts? Oh yes.
We adjust hems mid-ride to keep those lines perfect. The deeper the tan, the more miles you’ve earned. 🌞
3. Data-Obsessed
Average speed, elevation, watts, heart rate… Post-ride, we don’t just shower—we analyze.
“If I’d pushed 5W more on that climb, my TSS would’ve…”
Our phones have more cycling apps than photos.
4. The “Just One More Kilometer” Syndrome
Stopping at 99.8km? Unthinkable.
We’ll loop the block ’till the computer hits 100.0.
(And yes, we may or may not pause it before traffic lights.)
5. Spending €100 to Save 10 Grams
A carbon bottle cage that costs more than your phone? Reasonable.
Losing 5kg of body weight? Way harder.
We’ll shave grams off the bike while carrying kilos in our snack stash.
Why We’re Like This
Cycling isn’t just a sport—it’s a lifestyle filled with tiny rituals.
They might seem odd to outsiders, but to us, they’re part of the joy.
So go ahead: wear your kit all morning, chase that round number, and proudly show off those tan lines.
We’re all a little weird… and that’s what makes us cyclists. 😎
