Teams to Watch
The XDS-Astana WorldTeam enters as one of the race’s headline attractions. All eyes are on their new addition, Matteo Maluccelli, who won the sprint classification in the 2024 race.
The race will feature the standard four leader jerseys, representing the overall, points, mountain, and sprint classifications, with multiple sponsors supporting the event.
With the ceremonial start complete, teams now focus on the road ahead. The coming days will determine which riders and teams can conquer the varied terrain of Malaysia and claim victory in this historic Asian tour.
