Xiamen Island isn’t very big, and the Island Ring Road isn’t very long—just over 40 kilometers. But to truly take it all in? Driving is too fast; walking, too slow. On a bike, it’s just perfect.
Sunshine, sandy beaches, blue skies, and sea views blend into one beautiful scene after another. When you’re tired, you rest by the ocean. When you see something beautiful, you stop for a photo.
Over the Dragon Boat Festival, the “Ride Together in Xiamen” event hosted by Santic wrapped up beautifully. Following the wheels of fellow riders, we felt the ocean breeze along the Ring Road, passed the stylish Twin Towers, the historic Lighthouse Park, and the picturesque Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park…
Let the Santic photographers take you back through some of the best moments from the ride and the stunning views of Xiamen.
A few highlights from the journey:
🌊 Listening to the Sea at Music Square
The vast ocean feels profound and endless—much like the depth of Chinese culture itself.
🌴 Coastal Views & Coconut Grove Village
All along the coastline, you’ll pass Music Square, Coconut Grove Village, and plenty of spots to embrace the sea wind and nature itself.
😄 Laughter Carried on the Summer Breeze
There’s nothing like a relaxed group ride to discover the true taste of Xiamen—the “Egret Island” way.
💨 Coconut Grove Village = Xiamen Romance
Palm trees, ocean breeze—it’s a special kind of Amoy (Xiamen) magic.
🚴 The Simple Joy of Riding by the Sea
Cycling along the Island Ring Road, listening to the waves, feeling the gentle sea wind—it’s pure therapy.
Although the Xiamen ride has come to an end, Santic’s journey is far from over. Life can get tiring, but riding is one of the best ways to unwind—leaving your worries behind, one pedal stroke at a time.
Stay tuned for the next Santic relaxed ride. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see you there.
