Campagnolo’s Bora Ultra WTO wheelset has earned the celebrated International Golden Compass Award, standing out among 19 exceptional designs for its masterful fusion of performance, artistry, and sustainability.
Born from close collaboration between engineers, master craftsmen, and professional cyclists, the Bora Ultra WTO represents a true meeting of minds. This cross-disciplinary approach aligns with the 2025 Osaka Expo’s theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” creating a product that connects technology with the human spirit of cycling.
The wheelset is built using aerospace-grade carbon fiber, shaped with Campagnolo’s proprietary molding process. Each rim is meticulously hand-finished, giving it the refined feel of a crafted object rather than a mass-produced component. Sustainability is central to its production, with the team minimizing the use of resins and paints to reduce environmental impact.
Visually and functionally, the iconic G3 spoke pattern stands out. Its asymmetrical, tri-spoke grouping strengthens wheel stiffness and reduces weight, while creating a dynamic visual rhythm that suggests motion even at a standstill.
Designed for and tested by WorldTour riders, the Bora Ultra WTO delivers the lightweight responsiveness and control needed for racing at the highest level. It’s more than just a wheelset—it’s an extension of the rider, made to help you push limits and perform with confidence.
Campagnolo didn’t just build a wheel. They built a connection between human ambition and engineering excellence.
