Ibis just dropped two new aluminum-frame mountain bikes that balance performance, durability, and smart design—the Ripmo AF and Ripley AF. Both come with the brand’s lifetime warranty and pack features usually reserved for carbon models.
The Ripmo AF is the big hitter, with 160mm of front travel and 150mm in the rear. It runs on Ibis’s DW-Link suspension and lets you switch between 27.5″ and 29″ rear wheels. Inside the frame, you’ll find built-in storage for your trail essentials. It’s also coil-shock compatible and shares the same progressive geometry as its carbon sibling. Complete bikes start at $3,749; framesets go for $2,449.
The Ripley AF offers a nimble yet confident ride with 130mm rear and 140mm front travel.
It’s quick and responsive on tight singletrack but stays stable when the speed picks up. Like the Ripmo, it features DW-Link suspension, in-frame storage, and a flip chip for mixed-wheel setups. Full bikes start at $3,499; framesets are $2,449.
