The TROXUS AERO makes a strong entry into the competitive aero road bike market, balancing wind-cheating performance with surprising ride comfort—a combination that’s often hard to find.
As an Austrian brand making its debut in China, TROXUS brings a clear focus on functional aesthetics and performance-driven design. The AERO model features a full carbon frame built from Toray T800 carbon fiber, with tube shapes that prioritize aerodynamic efficiency without compromising resilience.

From the wide-profile “wind blade” fork to the truncated airfoil seat tube and dropped seatstays, every element is tuned to manage airflow. The fork crown integrates smoothly into the head tube, and the downboard features an inverted triangular profile to minimize turbulence from the front wheel. Cable routing is fully hidden through the carbon one-piece bar and stem, contributing to a very clean front-end appearance.

In terms of geometry, the AERO leans toward the aggressive side. Our size M test bike has a stack of 528.6mm and a reach of 383.4mm (STR: 1.378), which will suit riders looking for a speed-oriented posture. That said, with 3.5cm of spacers installed, the bike offered a comfortable and controlled feel even on longer rides.

The spec is well-chosen for the price point. Our AERO Pro test model came equipped with a Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed groupset, Novatec R5 wheels, and Continental Grand Prix 28c tires. The 52/36T chainrings paired with an 11-34T cassette provide a useful range for mixed terrain and climbing.

On the road, the AERO feels planted and stable. Acceleration is direct, and the bike holds speed well on flats and descents. The 405mm chainstays help with nimble cornering, and the frame’s vertical compliance—combined with 28c tires run at lower pressure—absorbs small road vibrations effectively. It’s not a harsh race bike; comfort is clearly part of the package.

At 7.9kg (size M), there’s room for weight savings via wheel or component upgrades. But as it stands, the TROXUS AERO represents a solid value for riders wanting one bike that can do it all—group rides, long solo efforts, and even fondo events.
For those considering an aero road bike around the $1,500–2,000 range, the TROXUS AERO is a compelling and balanced option worth a close look.
