Bafang Electric, a leading global supplier of e-bike drive systems, is doubling down on its commitment to the European market. In early July 2025, the company announced the relocation of its European headquarters to a new, larger facility in Cuijk, the Netherlands.
Originally established in the country in 2012, the European hub has now moved into a purpose-built site spanning 4,000 square meters—four times the size of its previous location.
This strategic expansion is designed to strengthen Bafang’s service and distribution capabilities across the continent. The new center consolidates its roles as a distributor service hub, after-sales repair center, and a key node in its warehousing and logistics network. A primary goal is to enhance the 48-hour service reach across Western Europe.
Bafang has been systematically building out its local presence. It now operates eight service locations across Europe, including in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. Each office is staffed with native-language support, bringing the total European service team to 35 people.
The company operates a dual-track service system: one offering dedicated, full-lifecycle support for its brand partners, and another providing a distributor support program currently active in the Benelux region, Germany, Poland, and the UK.
“The new headquarters is a testament to our long-term promise to the European market,” said Leroy van Heerde, Bafang’s Customer Service Manager for the Benelux region. “We’re not just expanding our physical space; we’re redefining our service standards. With a local team, a smart supply chain, and flexible cooperation models, we provide support that feels truly seamless for our clients.”
With this significant upgrade, Bafang reinforces its customer-centric philosophy, using its “product + service” approach to help global partners compete more effectively in the fast-growing e-bike market.
